Polo R Line info required

Hi guys, my first post on here so, Hi!
I'm currently driving a Mk5 Golf GTI but am looking to downsize into a Polo.
Not looking at the GTI as I don't want DSG and so I like the look of the little R Line's (105)
Does anyone on here have one, if so what sort of MPGs are you getting?
Also, does anyone know if the Golf GTI 17 inch Monza wheels would be the correct fitment for the Polo?
Not keen on the standard wheels.

Golf Monza's will not fit, but 17" 6r Polo and 16" 9N3 Polo GTI Monza's will fit

They do look great in red it must be said, although I will probably be going for white...
Do H&R do some springs for these to bring the ride height more to the same as the GTI?

Was gonna post mine but mines there with Wilxays haha.
I'll post a few more up of mine tomorrow as I've fitted a bonnet bra now and done some more exterior trim mods.
The H&R springs do bring it down a fair bit if you get the 25/40mm ones. Sets the back down nicely without too much loss in damping.

Team grey!
I usually get around 40mpg around town, close to the 50 mark on the motorway
unless of course I get a little foot heavy, then its below 30. Great car though!

Hi! I have the TSI which is the same engine and around town i get 40 average. Motorway work i get about 56 average.
However, if you become a bit trigger happy.. It will drop to mid 30's
With the addition to Aircon, on motorway it doesnt really effect it

Yep, it will be a huge step down in power and torque.
I need to get a test drive in one before I go any further, I might hate the lack of punch or it might not bother me atall, I dunno.

I came out of a mark 6 GTi into a Polo BlueGT. Whilst noticeably less powerful, the BlueGT is still quick. I would reckon its the handling of the GTi you will miss as much as the power reduction.

I'm sure some lowering springs would go some way to improving the general handling of the car.
Does anyone have an R Line lowered on springs that I could have a look at?
