last plate? 6n2 tdi and gti

I'm ready for a tdi or gti in the 6n2 shape. Does anybody know if there were any 52 plates in the 6n2 tdi or gti? Or did they stop at 51?
Personally I've not seen or heard of one.
However i seem to remember somebody having an SE or similar model that was on a 02 plate.
