German logic... I have a friend that has worked as a mechanic for 20 years now... And some of the things (not to say ALOT) they do really doesn't make sense...

Actually no. I had a friend help me out. But we got it working in a couple of hours. :)
(But it does require that you have the auto dimming rear view mirror and bi-xenon headlights.

Which are all thing you can put on the Polo... ;)

Martin, as you have done this, can you advise if you made up your own harness like ciclo, or did you buy the set from Kaufetec ?

Any more details as to whats involved as I'd really like to do this on the Wife's Blue.

I recommend the Kufatec kit. It is easier to install.
Edited: For vehicles with start/stop system this kit has problems. I did not know this situation before recommending it. I knew that others had successfully installed but were not equipped with start/stop system. Info here: http://www.polo6rfreunde.de/board3-der- ... dex33.html

I built my own wiring and everything works fine. Info on my topic. My r-line has no start/stop system.

For those who do not have xenon lights and light sensor is this kit:

Thanks for all the Info.

When I buy Kufatec kit, I have to choose "Factory fitted fog lights?:"

I don't have Factory fog but maybe I will get them in the next months.

What do you think I should choose and what are the differences in the kit if I choose that.

Thanks.

I think part numbers are:

6R0853665D 9B9 Left Frame
6R0853666D 9B9 Right Frame
6R0941061F Left foglight
6R0941062F Right Foglight
4* N90974701 screws 20*15*15
2* N10529501 Bulb

By the other hand maybe someone has experience with:
