Tarox discs n Pads combo

Has anyone replaced the OEM brakes and pads for the same size aftermarket items such as Tarox?
I am looking at same size discs and pads, just with added bite. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has improved the braking on a 2006 > 9N3 GTI.
Also do they have braided metal brake lines as standard?
