I was just wondering what's best? Do we go for the kind of obvious choice Castrol.. Or is there a better one?

I use castrol edge fst 5w-30 (1.2 tsi).Some say that mobil1 esp is better but we've been using the castrol 9 years now on my father's passat 2.0 fsi and the engine runs like it's new .

I use Castrol. Purely because that's what VW recommend.
Although I don't think it matters to much with non-GTI Polos as they are not exactly old or high-performance cars are they?

I use Castrol Longlife 3 like the car came with form the factory.
