sliding noise..

Hi..
I'm trying to locate the origin of a sliding noise on the passenger side of the car.
Every time I go around a corner there is a sliding noose that sounds like something rolling along a plastic surface. It is coming from the glove box area but I have had a look and cannot see anything loose in or under the glove box.
Could anybody suggest anything that it could be? If somebody had dropped something down the front windscreen heater vent, is it possible the item could be trapped?
