Going to get a stage one re-map done on my 9n3 GTI, just wondering if its worth getting a Milltek cat back resonated exhaust fitted too?

Just wondering peoples thoughts, not really done any tuning before.

Cheers.

don't quote me on this but I think its only worth it if you get a full turbo back system.. if I was you get a forge DV 007P and also a decent air intake i.e pd160 and panel filter

then get remapped should see half decent figures..

whos mapping it?

Might have a look at the intake then as it'll be a bit cheaper than the milltek. Thinking of going to Tdi North... I know they're honda specialists, but they've recently teamed up with AMD Essex. My mate takes his honda there, can't speak more highly of them.

so the map would be a generic or custom?

if your not to fuss about custom maps then just get a revo stage 1, should see 200 bhp with them I think..

Yes look into a pd160 intake a panel filter, im about to sell my set up once ive sorted my air intake to my air filter but im in the process of relocating my battery to the boot

but if your interested I could do the lot for £100 posted, come with PD 160 intake and a green cotton panel filter

As Simon says, thats the way to go for a stage 1.
Exhaust and intercooler plus a few extra goodies for stage 2
Recommend R Tech power in Leicestershire for a custom remapp, guy is a guru for VW

It would just be a generic AMD map. I'm looking at awesome gti too, they do the APR map. I'll give it a miss on the sale mate, see if I like the re-map first, and then move onto getting other stuff done, cheers for the info guys.
