Any one know what this button is?

I've just noticed this button and for the life of me don't know what it is I have a three door blue gt. It's on the drivers door column.

Yep, it turns off the intruder sensors in the car. Should you wish to leave the car with the windows open for example, it stops the alarm going off everytime there is a gust of wind. Of if you want to leave dog/kid/significant other in a locked car.
