I'm new on here but with the law just changing to make a check for a DPF on all MOTs compulsory.
Could I still get my 1.6 tdi 90ps remapped or is this no longer an option.

You can have a map which keeps the DPF.

Very good company who care about getting a smooth power line to reduce a huge spike in power which can result is burning your clutch out.

The mot check for dpf is only a visual check so you can have the filter taken out on the inside and the casing put back on I believe

I think joel is right..

as there is no real way of actually checking if there is a filter inside...Unless they use the vagcom feature which i dont think they will bother with

But its 99% most likely to just be a visual thing..ive had my dpf and cat removed but "visually" they are still there

I believe they don't emission test diesels

they do emission test diesels..

but even all this does not hugely impact a diesel....80% of the time it passes it

Or just have a friend for an MOT tester....
