Problems started today a few hours after washing the car .Unlock with remote and both front windows open ,same when using key to unlock but if using key to only open drivers lock windows go down and the alarm led in door card still flashes .
Lock using remote seems ok ,locking with key to raise windows isn,t working correctly ,turning key to lock and holding key to left does not raise windows but if I turn key back to middle then turn left and hold ,the windows raise .
Anyone had the same trouble ? I,m thinking micro switch in door lock .
Suggestions and advice welcome.

What year/model of polo?

Apologies for delay in replying . Cars a 2003 TDi . Strangely the problem went away after 2 days .I had spayed locks ,latches etc with WD40 .Whether this cured it I don,t know but the cars been fine ever since .
