RCD200 worn buttons

whilst the car is in the garage I have been looking around for a few ideas tips
the rcd200 stereo in our polo has some wear on some of the buttons and the paint is coming off
I am wondering is it possible to replace the front plate of the stereo and the buttons if I get a faulty unit or is it a case of just replacing the whole unit?
