VW San Marino's Origional 16 BBS Wheels

I have 5 16" San Marino wheels they came on a VW 1.9 TDI PD100 2007 Polo I recently bought,
I've been told these wheels are very rare and worth money..?
trying to find information on the internet is difficult! anyone know any information on these wheels?
they have been used and are corroded slightly aseptically the diamond cut edge, I'm looking to buy new wheels anyway should i get rid of these or keep them?
If anyone could help would appreciate it!
