Best tyre size choice

Looking at getting some 17"x7.5j wheels for the polo
Just wondering what size tyre would fit best, don't want overly stretched and I don't want balloon tyres either haha

215/40/17 would be my suggestion
also the amount of stretch differs from brand to brand, even though its the same size tyre!!

that's what the suggestion was on rim style but didn't want them to be balloon ish ha
Really that is strange? I was going to get nankang ns-2s?

nankangs stretch good, that tyre size is fine for a 7.5j
if your trying to go for the stretch look you need a wider wheel, lowish et of about 30 and decent lows!!

Lowering about 50mm and not going for a stretch look tbh just don't want chunky ass tyres that's all

Either go for a 195/40 or 205/40
