Spare wheel subwoofers - good or bad?

Hello!

I know some of you have installed a spare wheel subwoofer.. Any good?

My taste in music requires a bit more bass :) and the stock speakers are doing ok but can hear them topping out.

I have seen Blaupunkt have got their 6902 spare Wheel sub on offer as clearance for £79
Just wondered if its worth it..

Does it rattle the panels? Whats the quality like?

Thanks!

I take it you still need an amp? How does one run it off the standard radio?
