HI there,
I need to make a few tweaks on the polo 6r GTI:
to enable the sat nav directions in the instrument cluster after fitting a RNS510 (if possible)
auto locks
climate control display on RNS510
coming home feature
Would anyone have the cable and software to make this happen? Would be happy to pay for the help.
Cheers

Hi Welcome to the UK Polo Net forum
YOU CAN DO THE FOLLOWING TWEAKS VIA VCDS:
I need to make a few tweaks on the polo 6r GTI:
1) To enable the sat nav directions in the instrument cluster after fitting a RNS510 (if possible) YES ONLY IF YOU HAVE HIGHLINE CLUSTER, JUDGING THAT YOU HAVE A GTI YOUR CAR SHOULD HAVE A HIGHLINE CLUSTER AS STANDARD.
2) auto locks: YES
3) climate control display on RNS510: IF YOU ARE REFERRING TO THIS PICTURE BELOW, THEN THIS NOT POSSIBLE ON THE POLO 6R.

4) coming home feature: YES DEPENDING IF YOU HAVE XENON HEADLAMPS, AUTO LIGHTS FITTED TO YOUR CAR, POSSIBLE CAN BE DONE WITH HALOGEN LIGHTS WITH CUSTOM MADE LOOM.
BEST TO PM A GUY CALLED CICLO FOR MORE INFORMATION
I have Genuine VCDS Cable, But based on M11 Essex if your willing to travel a small distance.
I happy do the following for a small fee

One more question:
The unit I have installed in the car is a RNS510. Would I need to code it to the car so that it is recognised and the car doesn't throw up an error?
If so what are the steps for this?
Many thanks
