For the purpose of finding a compatible Induction Kit, do any of the other models in the polo range share the engine/ancillary layout with the BlueGT? Specifically the airbox and air pipe locations, if so, maybe an induction kit for that model will physically fit under the BlueGT bonnet?

Otherwise the choices are a universal one (good luck) or wait until K&N, ITG, pipercross, etc, etc pull their collective fingers out.

Stick with the OEM filter setup, have you seen how much muck those panel filters and induction kit filters let into the engine? They also show little to no performance gain at all.

Don't want one for performance, just the beefier induction noise. The past 3 induction kits I have had in 3 different cars all sounded better than an OEM panel filter and I saw no evidence of extra muck anywhere nor did they affect the engine to any detriment. I would say they gave the impression of better performance due to the improved induction noise - and that's exactly why I want one, the BlueGT induction noise is not the worst, it's almost there but sounds like it's muted and needs to be allowed to roar ;)
