How to change Sidelight bulbs.

I have vw polo 1.6 16v gti, 6N2, MKV, year 2000.
One of my day light running light are not working and I bought new ones and tried to change it but don't see a easy way of doing it.
Any ideas?

What do you mean by day running lights?
The 6N2 doesnt have them as such...

small bulbs in headlight. Next to Xenon light.. below high beam light bulb...

Sidelight bulbs then
To change these, you need to remove the back casing of the headlight. Its rather fiddly to do
