1986 VW Polo 1.05 Hatchback in Silver (FREE to a good home)

Dear Forum users,
We have a VW Polo C Hatchback 1.05litre 4spd in Metallic Silver C-registered 1986 with about 145k miles on the clock. Owned by my family from new. Has not been working and now SORN. Not sure why it stopped working, the AA mechanic claimed a cambelt.
Anyway it has been sitting in the garage for some time now and we do not have the knowledge of how to repair it.
It's certainly too good for us to scrap and we think it would be a nice car to restore. No major rust, but will certainly need some work on the engine and the bodywork to some extent, including a new windscreen which is cracked.
It would need to be trailered away. It is in North London.
Please contact us if you are interested, we have held onto this for a while and will only give it to someone who is going to restore it, not use it for parts or do anything too radical to it.
