Hi all

Total newbie here. I'll get straight to it. Does anybody know how to disable the cornering light function? I had the car in getting its service on Monday and the tech didn't have a clue how to turn it off. Whenever I go round a corner at low speed the halogen light next to the xenon in the main headlight unit activates itself. It is doing my head in. Surely there is a way to turn this off??? Help! Does anybody know which code to use? Cheers.

Hi, if I remember correctly (I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong), been a while since I've used VCDS on mine;
VCDS:
Select : Central Electronics ->
Coding/Long coding (sorry can't remember the name) ->
There's a tick box in one of the sections to enable/disable it. at least there is on my polo but it doesn't have xenons, could be that all of yours is in the "xenon" section rather than central electronics.

The most vague description ever, I know. But it should help you slightly! :)

The cornering light function is awesome... The chance of hitting something you haven't seen while turning is allmost zero. :)
