Retrofitting trip compter to 2010 6R SE?

Does anyone know hows best to go about retrofitting a trip computer ('MFD Cluster' i think it may be called? 
)
anyway, the one with a MPG readout etc. to a 2010 6R 1.6 TDI SE?
Im not sure if its something I could do through a dealer, or weather Its a do it yourself jobby?
If this isnt too much of a job, how difficult is it to go about retrofitting cruise control aswell?
