New Alloys and Wheel Size, Steering feels Different

Hi there guys I upgrade my alloys from 15" to 17" with the Tyres going from 185/60 R15 to 215/40 R17.
However since this upgrade I feel like my steering is way to responsive to bumps in the road, and the feedback from the wheels are affecting the steering way too much? Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to help this?

Thanks.

Have you modified your tyre pressures to suit ?

It's not a problem really, it's just a characteristic of having less rubber and air to filter the bumps from the road.

It's one of the trade offs I'm afraid for lower profile tyres.

Check the tyre pressures though, should be around 30-32psi on the 215/40/17 tyres,my hats what I run mine at anyway with just me in the car most of the time.
