Hello from germany,

after driving a golf V for the last 8 years one week ago i ordered a Cross Polo. First i wanted to buy a special switdch for opening my garage door in "OEM-style". You can get it at

http://shop.carstyle4you.com/index.php? ... -Polo.html

but unfortenately it will not fit at the new Polo 6 c ( 6R = 7 switches, 6C has 9 switches) so i am looking for possibility to adapt the select sport switch to open and close my garage door.

item 6C0927124A or item 6C0927124B

Is there someone at this forum who can tell me how this switches can be wired?

Thanks

Peter

Hi PPrecht, welcome.
Unfortunately I do not have the 6C diagrams, although with a 9v battery (for example) and two repair wires (OEM) you can try to check the function of each PIN.
Maybe this link might help: http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 15#p462823

Hi ciclo,

thanks for the advice. i testet it with 6 Volt an the pin layout is the same as in the 6R

PIN 6 = red LED ground
PIN 3 = red LED plus

PIN 2 = yellow LED plus
PIN 1 = yellow LED ground

PIN 4+5 = contact if button is pushed

now i have to wait until march / april for my cross Polo :(

I like this idea - did you ever manage to install the switch and get your GDO to work?
