6C Control Stalk in 6R

Hi everyone!
I've just bought my first VW - a Polo 1.2 TSI DSG GT. The time has come to retrofit cruise control and after getting a loaner 6C during the DSG recall I found the new control stalk much better looking/feeling.
Does anyone know if the 6C control stalk is similar or identical in wiring to the 6R? Here's an example of the looks (don't know if it's a Polo or Golf stalk): http://www.carsystems.pl/mfsw-interface ... id798.html
