Exhaust tips and stereo fitting kit

Post by Mayhem »

Right looking at doing my first mods. Looking at getting the exhaust tip for my 2010 1.2 tsi but not sure which part number.

Is it 8P0071761

or

8P0071771
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Audi- ... 3f3bb5f32b

Also is this correct for me to change over my stereo?

I have one of the exhausts from the first link fitted to mine, the number on my exhaust was 8p0 253 825, theres a picture in my build thread. However I think they'd both fit, theres loads of part numbers and many of them fit, if the width is 65 or 67mm it'll fit.

The kit contains the right fascia and adapter, but I'm not sure about the Ariel adapter, looks like single fakra in the picture but the polo has a dual fakra. It may work with just the single fakra though. I got all of my adapters etc online separately:

Fascia - £12.60

Harness adapter- £3.33

Dual fakra ariel adapter - £6.99

Got the stereo fitted but it powers on even with key out so guess its got to be wired to the fuse box. any tips on which fuse is best to use?

I always use the cigarette 12v fuse. COmes on with ignition. Use an add a circuit adapter and its really easy.

Regarding the exhaust trims, the part number ending 61 is a pair of trims and the part number ending 71 is just one trim.
