I think they look really good and the site says they are canbus friendly so if anyone can confirm if they work without resistors, or can recommend any others that do, that would be great.
Cheers!

I agree they look nice when flashing, but LED bulbs are generally a bit ugly when off and if you have a clear outer lens like on that Honda, you can see the bulb in all its ugliness. I will probably be going with good ol' SilverVisions at the front, and maybe LEDs at the rear, depending on how invisible they are.

Interested to have them on my 6C only if the look is not noticed. I don't like some LED bulb designs with those yellow squares in the visible zone.
Some help/experience to buy a good set?

Yeah I agree they're not the best looking when they're off, I've got SilverVisions in the front currently - they do look good. I just really like the clean on/off flash of the LEDs.
The LED units aren't an amber colour when they're off at least, plus the design of the headlamp unit means the look of the indicator bulbs are kind of hidden and not as exposed as the Honda.
Cheers!

98octaneblood - I don't think the look of the units I linked in my original post would be obvious in the 6R/6C as the design of the indicator section of the headlight is quite enclosed around the sides of the bulbs where the yellow squares are. The front of the bulbs seem to have a lens which should obscure any yellow squares. My only worry is they could hyper-flash or throw up the dash bulb warning light

Do you mean to blow or burn the dash warning light? I really don't know if that indicator/button is linked to the external bulbs power. Interesting post MattS, I'd go for those bulbs...if it's safe and no error messages come up.

You're covered by the UK Distance Selling Act anyway, so you can quite safely buy, try and return them if they don't work, or even if they do and you just don't like them.
Cree LED's have drivers so I'd have thought they would cause sufficient resistance to not trigger the bulb failure warning system, and/or hyper flashing.
Go on, be the guinea pig, then we can all get some if they work out!

I need the master's advice. Hope Ciclo reads us
Which of the three model of bulbs you recommend for front and rear?

Oooo a thread I like!
Interested in these has i HATE Halogen!!
Would love to manufacture something like these on my Polo..
I emailed the company to see if they could confirm whether the LEDs would work in a Polo 6R ('12 plate to be exact) and they said that they didn't know as none of their customers have ever tried it.
They advised me to buy one to check but warned that they "cannot take them back if they have been opened and returned for CANBUS problems" - seems a bit odd?
Cheers!

Find a lot of VW salesmen are like that..
When I got the car, i noticed the 12v fag lighter/power socket wasnt working, told the guy and he just looked at me and shrugged.
Dont really fill me with hope when I ring them with a question.
I might get some and give them a little test

For indicators taillights, (orange) LED CREE 50w undoubtedly.
Power consumption = 8-10W depends on the type of chip, XBD is the best.
The front turn signal bulbs are different.
In this video you can see that there is no delay compared to led of the rearview mirror.
If no vcds faults on this Audi A4, it will not have them in our VW Polo.

Thanks Ciclo, I'm considering to try those rear leds if they fit my 6C.
No recommendation for the front indicators? I find that stock bulbs look poor.

Could get expensive if it doesn't work... But I must say I am tempted.
Unfortunatly they don't have PSY24W bulbs for the front for us with Bi-Xenon headlights...
