Polo First Car - Want a 1.2 to look like a GTi

After much deliberation, I have decided that my first car should be a Polo as they are pretty much the best and most respectable first cars. I have decided that i would like the Facelift model - the 9N3. Hopefully I will be able to get a Black 1.2 S 3dr Polo.
Obviously being 17 i want to "improve" my car, I don't want to go crazy and lower it/improve the performance, it will only be a 1.2 and it will be my first car (insurance etc).
However, on the exterior (and also the interior) I want it to look like a Polo GTi.
For example, something like this (although I can't buy this as it's in Scotland and I'm in London):

Guys, there are the obvious things I will need to buy (Monza allows, that Honeycomb grill), but I am worried I'm missing out a load of things and the car will not look like a GTi. I would be unbelievably grateful if one of you guys could list the things I would need to transform a 1.2 into a GTi and estimate the price?
Also, what advice would you guys give when looking on the web and then looking at one in person?
Any advice would be fantastic
Thanks
Daniel
