Can you get mudflaps for the 6r 1.2 tsi? Fed up of cleaning it for it to be completely covered in dirt down the sides within a day. Love the car but seems to be a magnet for every piece of dirt on the road.

Yes there are two different versions of mudflaps. I would strongly recommend the short version. I'm scratching the bottom of the long front mudflaps everytime I go over a speed bump faster than walking pace, and driving down a curb.

Same here, I didn't realise there were two versions when I bought mine (long) they are OK with most speed-bumps but they do catch the more severe ones, but only the one fitted to the front, rear are fine. They do the job of keeping crud off the car.

Anyone have the part numbers for the short and long versions to hand??

Edit. Had a quick Google.

Long version

6R0075101 REAR
6R0075111 FRONT

£43.20 a pair from http://www.shop4volkswagen.co.uk/catego ... aps,b.html

Short version

REAR 6R0075106
FRONT 6R0075116

£40 a pair from http://www.volkswagenpartsdirect.co.uk/ ... olo,b.html

Looks a good price for a set. I think list price is over £65 for a pair. Nice one.

Post up how you get on with them, I may swap mine out for the sort version if you find them OK.
