I am looking to replace my head lights with bright white lights. I know the main and dipped beam are H7 and the fogs are H8. anyone point me in the right direction with decent road legal lights.

You will just be wasting your money...
First of all there is no legal ones. (Yes there are factory LED lights for alot of cars. But they are not just an ordinary headlight with a bulb change... They are waaaaay more complicated than that)
Second - they don't light up the street nowhere near as good as ordinary halogen headlight bulbs.
Third - The dishes in your headlight is designed to reflect the light from a buld that gives off light all the way around the bulb in all directions. LED bulbs emit light from fixed possitions which are wery concentrated.

You must have stopped and asked your self at some point leading up to this idea why no one else has done this mod...

I had this dilemma when I was upgrading my bulbs
As Martin said.. LED's dont work.
You can get whiter halogen bulbs to upgrade, but the whiter you go, the less it lights up the road.
Swings and roundabouts mate.

I would go for either
Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited or
Philips Extreme Vision.
