Hello everyone,

I have recently taken delivery of my new polo (6C 75ps SE) and have a couple of questions. I have searched everywhere but don't seem to be able to find the answers I need.

Firstly, I want to activate the autolock/anti hijack function. It is mentioned in the manual, yet my dealer tells me that they cannot turn it on. One of their technicians has been through every menu on their software and can't find any way of switching it on. I find it very unlikely that this is the case.

Secondly, is the 6C armrest different to the 6R one? If so, does anyone know of anywhere to source this? (Other than he dealer)

The part numbers for the Armrest etc. in 6R and 6C are the same according to ETKA

It's the same car... 98% of the parts in and out are the same.

The dealer can set that for you via vcds, the option doesnt show up on my SEL either despite it saying it will be there in the manual.

I asked for the Anti-Hijack feature to be enabled before I collected my 6C and I only realised when I got home that it wasn't activated. I've spoken to both my supplying dealer and my local dealer that I usually go to and they have both advised that they are having issues enabling the feature with the 6C. One of the technicians advised that he has tried everything and it just won't work so they're waiting for Volkswagen Germany to get back to them with regards to the issue.

A bit odd that this feature was activated within 5 minutes on my 6R that was SE spec but it can't be activated on one of the "top spec" SEL 6C models.

As far as I know it is activated via one of the menus in the stereo…

The single/all door unlocking is an option in the car setup but Anti-Hijack isn't.

The option to enable auto locking, shown in the videos posted by Peter, isn't there on my stereo. I'll get back on to the dealer and have it plugged into their VCDS.

I'd love for the feature to be available on my Composition media unit...

But it isn't.
