Thought it would be interesting to see what other Polo users are getting from their MPG's.

I run a 1.2TDI 6R, my car is used for commuting mostly, 45Miles round trip, I lift share to work which helps on the cost too. I have been keeping a spreadsheet for nearly a year and my current stats are:

Range : 28/03/2014 to Current
Average MPG : 56.83 (Ranges between 53.54 and 59.95)
Total Mileage : 10913
Fill Ups : 22
Total Litres : 873.35
Total Cost : £1119.22
Cost per Mile : 10.3p
Average Fill up : £50.87
Average Miles per tank : 496
Average litres fill up : 39.7L (45L tank)
Usual fill up place : Morrisons/ Tesco

I run a BlueGT, used for commuting mainly (60 mile round trip). Had the car 5 weeks and keep all my stats in the road trip app. The stats are as follows:

Range :7/1/2015 to Current
Average MPG : 50.90 (Ranges between 49.56 and 53.70)
Total Mileage : 2166
Fill Ups : 6
Total Litres : 185
Total Cost : £194.44
Cost per Mile : 9.4p
Average Fill up : £32.35
Average Miles per tank : 366.4 (had a partial fill up before a long journey)
Average litres fill up : 30.79L (45L tank)
Usual fill up place : Sainsburys/Shell

How are you getting all these stats? Is there a feature in the OBC I haven't discovered yet, an app..?

I calculate it all from brimming the tank each time i fill up, jotting down the mileage, then the litres and price per litre are on the receipt. I keep a spreadsheet with a few sums on it and it spits out the answers. If you cant be bothered going to that effort, its sad i know, you can download lots of MPG calcs from the app stores for your phone.

Range :22/1/2015 to Current
Average MPG : 49.7 (Ranges between 49.56 and 52.4)
Total Mileage : 897
Fill Ups : 3
Total Litres : 120
Total Cost : £119.64p 99.7p in Brum
Cost per Mile : 7.4p
Average Fill up : £38
Average Miles per tank : 349 (had a partial fill up before a long journey)
Average litres fill up : 42L (45L tank)
Usual fill up place : Harvest Energy - Cheapest in the UK!!!

I calculate mine using the Road Trip App which gives me all these figures.

Usual fill up place : Shell
