Hopefully we can get a few members to contribute, I see we have a thread for those lovely TSI engines

Its a 45 litre tank, and I drive until the last bar, and refuel light appears, + 10 extra miles.

I have never had less than 425 miles from a full tank, and the most miles from a tank was 540 all motorway miles, which I was very impressed with! I average 450 per fill.

This comes out at just under 45 real time miles per gallon (MPG)

Does anyone else have any stats ? to see if we are all running similar efficiency ?

P.S. my previous 'R' reg Corsa B only gave 300-320 miles per fill, so im very happy with the increase!

I drive my 1.2 S (60PS) around town to and from college and I usually aim for 400 miles from a tank at least as I'm only doing short journeys and the road I travel along is quite a quick and windy road so I tend to give it some. I calculated a few weeks back that I was getting 35mpg when driving hard, although I did take it to Silverstone and back from North Yorkshire and only used just less that 3/4 of a tank on a 380 mile round trip so it is a very economical car!

70ps got 548 miles with about 3litres left in the tank on a motorway blast loaded with camping gear.

old 1.2 60ps used to get 480 miles on a motorway run
