Polo 6C steering wheel in 6R

I am discussing an option to a trade for my Golf 6 GTD steering wheel for a 6C R-Line steering wheel.
I have this:

I am thinking about this:

There appear to be many versions, with limiter, adaptive cruise control,
The big question: will it work?
But that's too broad.
I know it will fit on the steering hub. So it will steer the wheel. That's nice
But I currently have a Golf 6 GTD steering wheel. That's needed to operate the GTI cluster with MFD+
And cruise control on the stalk.
So specific questions:
Will the back button work to go through menus on the 6R GTI cluster?
If you go into (for example) the bluetooth menu, you can scroll through names and go back.
The golf 6 wheel has a 'back' button, on the right botton cluster, the bottom one.
Will the illumination work?
I saw a scirocco retrofit to Polo 6R in this topic and it worked except for illumination. expected to be a coding issue?

There are cruise control buttons on the wheel. will they work or do I still have to use the ones on the indicator stalk?
Both would be nice, of course. But since the TRIP computer system for MFD+ only works on either the steer or stalk...
Will the airbag work and talk to the system?
I'm not saying I'm planning on crashing my Polo, just wanting to be safe.
I haven't seen a 6C to 6R retrofit, so I'm not sure anyone actually knows.
I have seen a Golf 7 to Golf 5 retrofit.

For the German speakers...
Short summary: partially works, but a lot of changing of the wires.
For the Dutch speakers:

"Kan gemonteerd worden in zowel de Polo 6R, 6C maar ook in de Jetta en Scirocco."
= Can be fitted in both Polo 6R and 6C, but also in the Jetta and the 'rocco.
The guy that is selling/trading says it will be a straight 1:1 to fit.
But I'm not sure whether I should always belive sales people who want to sell something. :p
No, just kidding, they have a good name.
I just want to know whether it's a 1:1 fit and/or any issues are to be expected.
