Does anyone know if the Car-Net App-Connect option available to 2015 Polo's can be retrofitted to the new 2014 model?

I really want Apple CarPlay

Over on the briskoda.net forum all the people that have bought the fabia have been left short changed as they can't get smart link that's being put into cars from build week 22. I think it's the same sort of thing as app connect?

Ugh. Getting major buyers remorse on this car! VW just don't have a very good post sale set up. Service people have been consistently rude, and nothing is ever easy. I am certain it's a software upgrade for MIB2.

I wonder if I would have this being as I'm getting on 27th May and only left the factory 4 weeks ago
