Hi all, new to the polo scene and also to the forum!
Apologies for diving straight in with a quiz, but i'll make up for it sometime this week with a proper intro;)

I want to fit nav into my 6n2 and from reading up, i understand that the MFD system is the one to go for if you want to stay OEM (which i do as i like the clean, subtle look!) can anyone guide me in the right direction or show me their MFD? And maybe a few people who have aftermarket ones with a million features? I would be keen to see how a few of them look :)

Thanks guys.

Welcome

The MFD system albeit it OEM is possibly one of the worse sat nav systems VW ever released lol. Very un user friendly, and riddled with issues

If you do choose to install one, be sure to use a Version G - this was the last know version which had many upgraded parts to stop alot of the issues the earlier models had.

I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in mine - its a bit older now, but its great for integrating with the VW look. All lights up like the dash too :) Ill pop a pic up this week.

Just as i feared then, even its appearance doesnt fill one with confidence, i'll keep looking! Okay, will look into the pioneer! just cant stand the shiny looking tacky stuff thats plastered all over ebay  so wanted to keep it OEM or integrated as you say. Quick and useful reply much appreciated alex. :) pics would be good!
