Why not just buy the ones from the GTI? They share the same exhaust and fits 100%.

The Amazon ones are much cheaper than the VW ones.

The Koolatron tips a few pages away from those you show on Amazon will not fit as supplied, they can be made to fit by partially removing the internal clips then reusing part of the clip but it's a right pain and a good way to cut your fingers as the bits are sharp...been there, done that! If the list of makes is similar I'd guess you'd have the same problem.

With hindsight I'd have gone for the VW ones, the Koolatron ones look good but literally were a bloody pain.

I take it the exhaust trim on the vw configurator for the Blue GT and the GTI are referring to the same part?

I had done a lot of searching and the ones for the GTI where very expensive from VW. But the ones from Skoda Yeti almost same tip just very slightly shorter where less than £30

I have just bought a set of chrome tips.

They seem very hard to fit - I am afraid to press harder to get them on.

They are from the Skoda Yeti and should fit.

Can anyone tell me how the fitted their's?

Has any of you fit it? I just bought one but it doesn't fit very well.

What did you do to install them?

It takes som power.

I also used a hammer and a piece of wood (between the hammer and the tips  ) to get them on.

Maybe a bit late, but, I bought Audi accessory part number 8V0 071 771 for my wife's 2015 1.2TSI 110PS - that was what was advised to be the correct part number somewhere in this forum a long time ago - there was an Audi online parts place selling them, a bit expensive though, but it fits okay with the proviso that the "angle" of the car is slightly different to the "angle" that the chrome trim is, now if you were very fussy, you could measure the angle and trim the tail pipe end to suit perfectly - or you could just fit and forget!
