Hi guys, as the title says really.

What do you use to wash your cars? What pressure washer or kit etc and any good recommendations? Been looking at a kind of snow foam method, where it connects to the end of your hose / jet washer and covers your car in thick white foam.

Im looking at the same thing.
I know Karcher are good for that.. And cheap
£60 roughly then plus £20 adaptor and your good to go

Im looking into restoring the paint using a buffer machine and paint detailing solutions..

I'd be very wary about using any form of pressure washer on your car. You only need a slight stone chip in the clear coat and you can end up removing it completely with a pressure washer.

Best to use a better cleaner like snowfoam if the car's really dirty and the just water, car shampoo and a mitt to clean it off. Wax and clay as well if you want to do it really properly. It doesn't take much longer and your bodywork is likely to last much longer.

what would i need for a snow foam? Sorry for the obvious question, but I'm unsure what i will need or the best one to get for the price..

There are loads of products out there but the ones which seem to get the best ratings are Autoglym and Bilt Hamber. Autoglym is expensive as it's got the reputation now, but Bilt Hamber seems to get a lot of awards:

Karcher K2 and aytoglm shampoo works well with the snow foam but it doesn't last that long

Have a look into Sonax Polymer Net Shield..
Great product for protecting the paintwork after you've washed and polished the paintwork.

£14 for a aerosol can, just spray on a applicator and buff off.. Can be used on paintwork and glass.. Creates a beading effect for water and apparently lasts 6 months..

Personally I prefer Elite http://www.elitecarcareproducts.co.uk/

Atak for alloys
Whiz wash & wax for paint
then Scoot for a coat of wax again
also restore for tyre dressing
