Just after I rev I hear a little metallic rattle from the engine bay but sounds like it may be going underneath the car (not 100% sure)...
The rattle doesn't last very long and isn't super loud, it is noticable when stationary but not so much when doors/windows are closed
The dealer says this is normal for this engine but not 100% sure that it is!

I can get a video if needs be, but haven't taken one yet as someone may already have the answer.

Normal, I get this sound too. It's the timing chain that's making the noise.

Hmm I'll have to compare next time I see you haha, reading through the internet a lot of people have had various different fixes through warranty.

I get the same metallic kind of rattle when I accelerate in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear, kind of like if a bolt wasnt done up properly and a washer was spinning on that bolt..
Then when I change gear, i get a metallic clunk as I engage the clutch..

Super annoying

Theres a known issue where the gear shift cables rub on the exhaust tunnel shields making a rattling noise - just needs to be bent back out the way and the noist will go

Is it loud? I had some sporadic rattles at acceleration and certain revs, sometimes quite severe.

Turned out it was the well known fuel lines. Try them by lowering the plastic shield underneath the car on the front right side. Good luck in the search.

I had the fuel line problem driving back 200 miles after collecting my car.. Rattling at 2500revs.
