This may seem an odd question. Has anyone retro fitted electric central locking either to a 6n2 that didn't have CL in the first place or to replace the pneumatic system? The reason I ask is my boot, it will be electrically opened so I need electrical locking as apposed the pneumatic/mechanical system it has now.

have you got remote central locking at present?

Yes, the standard GTI setup atm.

So was that an aftermarket kit or did you utilise another VAG system?

Ah, cheers Alex, I think my mate has this setup on his 6KV polo. I'll look into slaving this into my boot. I'm in the process of grafting in a Golf 5/6 boot handle
