I would like to install LSD on my polo. Engine code: ARC. Original gearbox (5 speed).

Are you familiar with one?

There's a Quaiffe one or at least there used to be. Have a look through the forum as it been done before.

The problem is that Quaiffe has LSD for 085 and 02 gearboxes.
I have check and I have ETG gearbox.

Will the 085 fit? (02 gearbox has 6 speeds, mine has 5)
What does the 085 mean?

The 085 ETG gearbox was manufactured from july 1999 to july 2001. Then the box changed over to FFW which was manufactured from july 2001 onwards. All the gear ratios and clutch diameters are the same.
