Seeing as my local VW service department won't respond to emails can any body help with part numbers for the Piano Black trim for the 6C Interior that comes as standard on the GTI?

Need the Vents and the Radio Surround for the Composition Media Radio.

the same as the current, but instead of 9B9/X0X or whatever at the end, it is 041 or N0R (N zero R).

so 6C1 234 567 A 041 (for example)

check the part numbers with your current ones though to be sure

not sure about the differences between the ABC versions...

Guessing A B C equals the three different styles of radio and top rows of buttons as having removed the the trim panels from my polo I've got the B one for the radio and an A one for the middle vent...

That could be, I didn't have the PR codes with me to check. The PR codes indicate what the options are that belong with a part. For example satnav, only radio etc. For the 6R these frames are all the same but I could imagine the frames for 6C are different due to different radio styles.

While someone has mentioned "PR- codes", that reminds me that I will have to try to remember to ask for "CAR DATA" printout for wife's new Polo when I am in to collect my first ordered parts ( battery +ve terminal cover) - and hand over a large new list of wants, mainly all the parts for the under seat drawers, rear calliper return springs and something else! The under seat drawers seem to have the same frame as the 9N and 9N3 Polo, wife never liked them even though they are standard fit on her last car, but she is getting them anyway (can have = must have). I'd always encourage anyone that might want to buy bits for their car or service it later in its life, to request a copy of "CAR DATA" as having it saves a bit of guessing or head scratching later on.

Edit:- one other maybe missing part to fit - bung to seal up the holes for manual locking on front doors, and warning triangle as the one I bought for 9N Polo is too long to fit in space in 6R C0 Polo!
