Just order the new polo GTI. Been told it should arrive around the end of october, I reckon from reading a few posts on here it will be pushed back a bit.

I was just wondering if anyone has managed to get it remapped, I cant seem to find anything online for it and just wondered what improvements people have received from doing it.

I think there has been one tuning outfit had a go at it but I've got to be honest, it's probably more than quick enough in stock form. The tyres are already struggling to deal with what's going through the front wheels so you'd probably be better off buying stickier front tyres than putting any more power through the current tyres.

I'm going to get mine mapped once the first year is over with.

Even if it is just to get rid of the artificially flat torque delivery

The likes of Apr and revo shouldn't be too long until they release a map as they both already do 1.8 tsi gen 3 maps

Them sats sound rather impressive for the top of the range can get 258hp, would deffo need some new breaks and tyres if you was to run that.

141 kW 190 kW + 35%
192 HP 258 HP + 34%
320 Nm 409 Nm + 28%

Problem is that the clutch is only rated to 350Nm so you're starting to take a risk with it.
