The estimated figures are just that.

Cheers for sharing those. Very interesting estimates implying, exactly as you noted in your post, that the official figures may be a little shy of reality.

I appreciate they are estimates but 213 BHP in sport mode is promising. It also appears that the Sport Button does provide a small additional power and torque increase.

The quoted figures from vw are probably right or if anything an under estimate.

The power at the wheels takes into account all drive train losses which for a front wheel drive car can be around the 15% mark.

The sport button made a slight difference but I was looking for a climb earlier on in the rev range.

Is the "RWD" an indication that the calculation was based on a rear steer car?

Only just noticed that the calculation should be FWD as shown in heading above the graph as RWD cars suffer greater losses.

I would be curious to compare this to a manual Polo GTi without the sport button as imagine there would be a lot of annoyed owners as VW only describe the sport button as increasing throttle responses and changing the dampers.

Someone with ecu access should be able to tell if the map changes fuelling or timing with sport button engaged....which is more accurate than a rolling road.

Don't get hung up on rolling road figures, or graphs for power...what's the afr when on boost?

I'd have a few genuine questions about the graphs and figures, which will affect the figures...giving a higher reading. I'd be curious as to why there are two different corrections when the runs are minutes apart, the RWD calaculation will also skew the figures and if your home town is anything like here 12degrees ambient temp is about 10degrees too high.

Tbh I did only get it done just as a rough base line and to compare it roughly to what Apr come up with.

I had my old 9n3 done 3 times on different roads the estimated had a difference of 23bhp but the wheels figure was only different by 2bhp . So I don't really take much notice of the estimated figures

I'd say the 12degrees was about right as it was about 7 degrees outside and the rr was inside a garage then it it's own room

Old 180hp gti does 0-100kmh in 6.7 sec.
They usually dyno around 180-185hp

Would have thougt It was faster if it puts out 210+ HP
Especially since i Saw remapped BlueGT with 195hp(on dyno) doing 0-100kmh in 6.5 sec, timed also with a driftbox.

PS. The 50-100kmh is also the same for the two cars, only a 0.1 diff.
