basically the main handbrake cable runs in a line under the car to the rear torsion bar but stops there, there are two separate linkages which then run off the main cable.
its hard to describe but it would be sensible to invest in a haynes, couldnt live without mine.

make sure you have a good look at the drums and things while you're down there - when my cable went (immediately after getting the car

) it turned out to be caused by seized pistons... much of the system had to be replaced...
(this £600 car has ended up costing me about 2 grand in various repair bills over the past 2 years

hopefully that means its going to be mint for the next 10

)

HEHE i avn't done any handbrake turns yet,

i only drove it for the first time yesterday
Think i did quite well considering it's so much difforent to my instructors car.
The handbrake broke when my bro was driving, he is a bit of a daredevil, (aren't u Si?

, hehehehe)
Nah i ain't pointing the blame

, what happens happens for a reason, i'm just happy it didnt brake on me or i would av gone into a panic

can i get them over to sort out my sticky cable?
rear right wheel seems to have the brake locking halfway on when i let the handle down

at least, if its jacked up (both wheels in the air

) and i try to spin it..
jiggled it, blasted hell out of it with wd40 at all available points.......... nothing.
