Well it's that time again

Well, it's nearly 3 years since we purchased the wife's Blue GT, and in a few months we will have had a decision to make as to whether to keep the car (and pay off the PCP balloon - which we have the money for), or chop it in for something else.
Well we were going to purchase the car outright as the wife loves the Blue, and there's nothing else out there that takes her fancy, but this weekend were invited to a special "VIP" day at our local VW dealer (they have supplied us with our last 6 VW's). TBH, I thought it would be a waste of time with pathetic discounts over and above what were normally achievable, but to my surprise, they not only beat quotes I had got from Drive the deal and Car Wow but obliterated them (by £1,200). With the discounts, loyalty bonuses, VW finance contributions, additional on the DAY VIP discounts etc. we are actually paying less now for a better specced car than we did back in 2013, but then we did order two cars (with a MK7 GTI DSG for me to replace my MK7 GTD DSG) !
So, she has ordered and is waiting for the following (almost identical to her existing car - that's how much she likes it - but with more toys
)
3 Door Polo Blue GT
DSG
Blue Silk Metallic
Xenon Headlights
Climate Control
Adaptive Cruise Control
Front / Rear Parking sensors
Convenience Pack (auto lights, auto wipers, Folding Door mirrors)
Discover Navigation
App Connect pack
Winter Pack
Passenger airbag deactivation
Side Curtain airbags
All in all, a bloody well specced car ! Roll on April / May / June or when ever it get's delivered (in no rush as the PCP on her current doesn't run out until Mid July). TBH, she really wanted a GTI Polo which would have been nice, but she really wanted the adaptive cruise control and active braking, as I have this on my Golf for the last 3 years and it's brilliant. Weirdly though, the top of the range GTI can't be spec'd with ACC, so a Blue GT again it was.
