Is there some obvious way of finding whether a 64 plate (reg Nov '14) is a 140 or 150bhp. I can't find anything of reference on this

Would the emissions be different? if so then you could check the dvla website to see what yours are (usually shows on the online tax page) and copare them to the 140 or 150bhp figures

This interior = 150 hp

(Notice the changes: Steeringwheel, radio, speedo, buttons above radio, aluminium trim on doorcards)

Is that the definitive way Martin, the one I've looked at has the later interior you've pictured

That's the way.
Other options are more elaborative, but you could have a look at the sticker under the trunk carpet, and look at the engine code. CPTA = 140bhp, CZEA = 150 hp.
Or look at the tail lights, roundish eyes inside the L is 140bhp, rectangular eyes is 150bhp.

Ah right. That confirms it then. I noted the engine no started CZEA on some paperwork in the doc wallet
Thanks very much

When looking at curves from dyno prints, the 140/150 deliver the same, also thru the rev range.

The faceliftet (6C) has got 150 hp and the pre faceliftet (6R) has got 140 hp. There isn't two different versions of each.
