Hi there, first time poster, first time car owner.
I'm looking for a couple of lambda sensors (pre and post catalyst) to my 6N2 1.4 16v Polo, but looking online i'm super confused about what sensors would be compatible or not - I visited a motor shop earlier today and I was quoted £130 for just the front lambda sensor - can anyone point me in the right direction for a more affordable yet compatible option?
Thanks.
Edit:
Just for clarity the errors I get are:

I have sourced mine from EuroCarParts - happy enough with the quality and they come with the correct plugs so no soldering.
You'll probably need to remove the downpipe to get the rear lambda sensor removed without damaging the flexi pipe.
Inspect the 6 plug connector attached to the gearbox for the pre-cat sensor. The wires get brittle and break, giving some of the symptoms you have posted

So I ended up replacing the front and rear sensors, after getting them fitted the error:
P0130 - Powertrain 02 Sensor Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
remained, so i'm curious if there's any common circuit wiring faults related to lambda sensors.

Did you check the wiring on the 6 pin plug

Not sure how far down the wiring i should be looking but on the plug seems all intact -

They can break inside the actual cable. Give it a pull and check for splits and brittleness up to 2 inches from the plug.
