Think I've got rust on my door sills both sides, number of small patches of multiple bubbling, booked her in to get looked at strange that it's happened so soon (it's a 2013 reg) so most likely will be sold on for a mk7 golf if it is rust if not the polo will stay on.

Also car was washed once a week since I've had it along with the sill area being washed too (no cause for rust to form) so it's worth having a look even lift up the seal a little bit

Are you sure it's not the stone chip protection on the lower part of the sills that's applied in the factory before the bodyshell is painted? Do you have any pictures you could post up?

I would take that back to the dealer. That should be covered under the paintwork warranty.

have it booked in for next wednesday, just wondering where else it could be forming. I hit all the exposed parts with acf-50 (rust prevention) when I got it so least they're still all good

If it's a defect in the paint do you think I could get a respray? on some parts because my paint seems to be very thin compared to others

The dealer will arrange for it to be fixed under the warranty. Otherwise if they don't yes any decent body shop ideally VW approved so they use VW paint will be able to fix it quite easily

12 year warranty against corrosion with all new VW cars, get it booked in at your local dealership and fixed under warranty! :P

Is it like that everywhere in the world or just in the UK ? Because in my front bumper in the lowest part where the plastic meets the paint that its starting to bubble up like in the photos above. But they havent opened yet.

It's an anti corrosion warranty so not sure it applies to plastic parts but yes it's global as such. Different years for different countries though
