Hello everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself! I have just bought my first Volkswagen, a polo gti, 3 door manual in black with the sports performance pack! I was originally told I would likely see the car in May but I got phone call from the dealer today to tell me he had sourced me the exact car I wanted and will have it for next week, ecstatic! I am trading in an Abarth 500 which I have loved but looking forward to more power but a bit more discretion and a more relaxed drive to and from work. The Abarth was a bit mental, it doesn't do subtle.

Quick question, does the gti come standard with dab?

And what is the best thing about the polo gti...

Just to add I haven't actually driven it yet, test drive is booked in for Thursday but I'm sure I will love it, from reviews it seems to be quicker than the stats Volkswagen have released, 0-60 for example

Welcome to the forum Bryan. Yes, the media unit in the GTI does come with DAB as standard.

I've had my GTI for 3 weeks now (previously had a mk6 Golf GTD) and I'm really enjoying it; I'm sure you will too. It's looks are quite discrete, and the interior is a really nice place to be. And I don't think you'll be disappointed with the performance.

Thanks mate, I'm sure I'll love it! It's funny I wasn't to bothered waiting till may for it but I know I'll have it next week I'm getting more impatient! Haha. That's good the dab is what I missed in the Abarth. Yeah I've done the loud boy racer thing now so it's out my system, just want something that will be fun when I want it to be but can be a comfortable cruiser on a Monday morning.
