Blue GT and GTI exhaust

I'm considering upgrading from my blue GT to the 1.8tsi GTI.
Does anyone know if the exhaust from the cat back is the same? Because I got a custom Catback exhaust built for the blue GT and want to know if it will also fit on to the new GTI?

They have different part numbers - but I am sure it will fit...

Will the 1.8 not be a larger bore? Just had a look at the milltek web site bore seem to be the same size

The GTI is 55 mm all the way.
The Blue GT is 55 mm until the rear silencer which is 50 mm.
So it will fit.

I just fitted a GTI catback Milltek exhaust on my BlueGT... No problems.
