You've solved a mystery for me Nlolotte! I'd been wondering what those slots were for. I don't have them I my car.

Unfortunately, I don't think the Tiguan version will fit; in the Polo version in your picture, the top right corner is 'square' but in the link you've posted, the Tiguan version has rounded corners on the right hand side. Isn't your dealer able to give you the part number?

I'll give them a call and find out tomorrow, Would be handy for me as I always carry my Bank card and License loosely as I don't use wallets

Will it fit in a 6R though? The 6C buttons are differently sized.

Looks like it takes up the space of 3 Blank buttons on the line of buttons above the radio.

Not sure how easy it would be to remove them and replace?

No, the right part number is this: 6C08583731QB
and it will only fit the 6C not 6R

I agree with peter, that is the right number
